Newborn nipple (Level T)
Designed by medical professionals and Dr. Brown’s® engineers, the Newborn nipple offers a consistent and precise flow rate allowing baby the ability to safely and successfully bottle feed at a reduced flow rate. Created for babies requiring a slower flow nipple than Dr. Brown’s® Level 1 nipple or needing to transition up slowly from Dr. Brown’s® Preemie™ level nipple. Ultra-Preemie™ Nipple
Dr. Brown’s® Ultra-Preemie™ level nipple is the slowest flowing nipple compared to any other brand on the market and 35% slower than the Dr. Brown’s® Preemie™ level nipple. Since it was created through a cohesive effort between medical professionals and Dr. Brown’s® engineers, the Ultra-Preemie™ nipple continues to be used as one of the most valuable intervention tools by top Feeding and Swallowing Specialists. The Ultra-Preemie level nipple offers the most consistent and precise bolus flow rate that has been shown to assist in managing the typical to complex oral feeding challenges observed infants at preterm, late preterm and term age. The reduced flow rate allows infants the ability to safely and successfully orally feed by supporting their suck -swallow-breathe pattern with a reduced fluid bolus size and rate. Dr. Brown’s™ Ultra-Preemie™ Narrow Nipple is the trusted NICU nipple for premature babies and babies with feeding difficulties. Used in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across the country, the Ultra-Preemie™ nipple is designed to help babies with feeding difficulties transition to full oral feedings in less time. This medical nipple offers a very slow flow, helping your little one to develop feeding skills to take on breastfeeding or bottle feeding full time.
Level T
Dr. Brown’s™ Level T Narrow Nipple is the “just right” flow for some newborns, breastfed babies, and babies with feeding difficulties. Faster than our Preemie Flow™ Nipple but slower than our Level 1 Nipple, brand new babies and developing babies with feeding difficulties may find the Newborn Nipple to be a happy middle ground! The Level T Nipple also offers a more gradual transition for breastfed babies who have graduated from Preemie Flow but are not quite ready for Level 1. Plus, it’s great for any baby who simply prefers a slower flow!
